This summer, the NBA experienced the wildest offseason for any major sport, ever, period. Free agents flew every which way, (but mostly West), superstar laden trades abounded, and demigod Zion Williamson entered the league. After 10 years of the power being in the hands of Big Threes like Pierce/Allen/Garnett, Lebron/Wade/Bosh, Lebron/Love/Kyrie, and however you would classify the Warriors, the balance shifted. Now, there are 8-10 Big Twos scattered around the coasts (again, mostly the left coast). There are now two power couples in the Staples Center alone: Lebron and Anthony Davis in yellow and Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in red. This dilution of the elite makes it even harder now for teams without requisite superstars to force their way into the postseason.
